A Life's Work, Crafted One Piece at a Time

"I see my craft as more than woodworking.

It’s the translation of my life’s energy into something tangible.

Every joint, every curve, every grain is a quiet promise:

I give you my best. No compromises. Ever."

About Ellerbuilt Woodworks

When Every Piece is a Signature. Even If No One Knows Your Name.

At Ellerbuilt Woodworks, every piece is a reflection of something far deeper than craftsmanship — it is the enduring legacy of a life dedicated to beauty, integrity, and meaning.
Ellerbuilt exists because true craftsmanship is timeless. It’s not about chasing trends or filling a space; it’s about creating objects that speak across generations. Each piece is a conversation between material and maker, a silent testament to the belief that beauty matters — that how something is made matters
Driven by a deep respect for the creative process and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right, Ellerbuilt was founded on a simple, powerful idea: if you are going to spend your life creating, you should pour everything you have into it. Every table, every project, every piece is the result of patience, purpose, and an artist’s relentless pursuit of excellence — even when no one is watching.
At Ellerbuilt, the work is not about fame or recognition. It’s about leaving behind something worthy — a whisper through wood and time — a reminder that craftsmanship, at its best, is an act of love.

WHY CHOOSE ME

Craftsmanship rooted in passion, skill, and heritage

From a young age, woodworking became my natural outlet for creativity and problem-solving. Inspired by my childhood experiences, including fixing things and refinishing a bench at age 10, I developed a lifelong passion for crafting. Fascinated by the precision and artistry of Japanese woodworking, I admire the mastery of ancient carpenters who seamlessly blend wood with nature. This deep appreciation for craftsmanship, paired with my drive to continually improve, has shaped my unique approach to building exceptional, timeless pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What wood is best for furniture?

The best wood for furniture depends on the intended use. Hardwoods like oak, cherry, and walnut are ideal for sturdy, long-lasting pieces, while softer like redwood and cedar are great for outdoor pieces. Options exist for nearly any situation, these will be explored during consultation. Each type of wood offers its own unique grain, texture, and durability, so we can help you choose the perfect wood for your project.

To protect wood from moisture, it’s essential to apply a high-quality finish such as conversion varnish, catalyzed lacquer, or UV cured finish, which create a barrier against water. Regularly waxing or reapplying the finish helps maintain its protective layer, and placing furniture in areas with controlled humidity will further prevent moisture damage.

We work with a wide variety of woods, including hardwoods like oak, maple, and cherry, as well as unique and exotic options. We’ll help you choose the best wood based on your project’s needs, durability, and aesthetic preferences.

The timeline depends on the complexity of your project. After our initial consultation and approval of the design, we provide a detailed timeline. Smaller projects can be completed within a few weeks, larger projects can take several months.

We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality materials and precise craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully inspected throughout the process to ensure it meets our rigorous standards for durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

about brandon

Brandon Eller Craftsman & Founder of Eller built Woodworks

Brandon Eller is a master craftsman whose work reflects a deep commitment to beauty, integrity, and purpose. As the founder of Ellerbuilt Woodworks, he creates heirloom furniture built to outlast trends — pieces that carry soul, meaning, and the mark of a life well-lived.

Brandon doesn’t just measure twice and cut once — he listens, visits the space, and designs with the intention that each piece belongs exactly where it ends up. His standards are uncompromising, his process deliberate. If there’s a more difficult path that leads to something better, he takes it. “If something is easy to do, it’s not worth doing.”

That same philosophy extends beyond the woodshop. Brandon lives for challenge and exploration — climbing remote routes on lead, whitewater catboating, kite buggying, powder surfing, and camping through all seasons. He’s even building an RV from the ground up on a 1954 Chevy truck. Whether crafting furniture or carving lines into fresh powder, Brandon believes the same truth: no risk, no reward.
